Day of Hearing

Instructions for Participants

Preparation:

  • Professional Attire: Dress appropriately as you would for an in-person court appearance. This demonstrates respect for the court and the proceedings.
  • Prior Preparation: Prepare for your hearing in the same manner you would for an in-person appearance. Gather any necessary documents and familiarize yourself with the proceedings.

Technology:

  • Meeting Information: Locate your meeting information for the department where your hearing is scheduled. This information will be provided by the court.
  • Audio & Video Test: Ensure your video and audio functionalities are working properly before the hearing. This avoids technical delays and ensures effective participation.

Joining the Hearing:

  • Early Arrival: Join the online meeting at least five minutes before your scheduled time. You may be placed in a waiting room before being admitted.
  • Identification: Upon entering the meeting, type your full name for proper identification. If you are an attorney, include the name of your client. If you are representing an agency, include the agency name.
