Appellate Division

The Appellate Division hears appeals of infraction(traffic), misdemeanor(criminal), and limited civil cases.

Each fiscal year the Presiding Judge makes a recommendation to the Chief Justice who appoints the members of the Appellate Panel and designates one to be the Presiding Judge. For fiscal year 2023/24, the panel of judges includes the following:

Honorable Samuel T. McAdam*

Honorable Judge Daniel M. Wolk

*Appointed as Presiding Judge

Oral Argument

The Appellate Division will hear oral arguments on appeals every fourth Thursday of the first month of each quarter (January, April, July, and October). If you have an appeal scheduled for oral argument or would like to see what is on the hearing calendar, here are the scheduled upcoming hearings:
