PHONE SCAM ALERT

: in more than a dozen states, including California, reports have been filed regarding calls from people claiming to be court officials or law enforcement officers. Do not provide any information having to do with your bank or credit card to anyone claiming to be an officer of the court or of the law. If you receive communication from someone requesting your personal information, immediately contact the fraud unit of your local police department. Be advised that although court personnel may contact you by telephone, they will never ask for your personal or credit card information.

Public Access to Court Proceedings:
Yolo Superior Court offers full video and/or audio of court proceedings to the public via live-streaming of hearings. 
 The decision to livestream or not is within the discretion of the judge presiding over the hearing.

Live streaming is unavailable when the court is not in session, during confidential proceedings, or pauses for confidential discussions.

Recording Prohibition:
Reproducing, republishing, rebroadcasting, uploading, posting, transmitting, or otherwise using any court proceedings content is prohibited without prior written judicial authorization, Rule 1.150 of the California Rules of Court.
Violating these prohibitions may result in contempt of court, sanctions, or termination of media coverage.
